Was this the car they put the giant subwoofer in? Or am I thinking of a different car?

300SD

This is from the episode when they were testing gas mileage boosters. You can see the tank on the top of the car. They went to a restuarant and got some used fryer oil and put it in the tank. This will only work in a diesel. Also in the subwoofer episode, Jamie refered to the diesel engine a few times so it must be a 300SD

This car was pretty much destroyed by Jamie and Adam replicating the subwoofer myth. They attatched the subwoofer to the drive shaft of the car ,and it basically destroyed itself.

It didn't "destroy itself" the only damage it suffered was a sunroof being pushed up a little bit.

The sunroof panel is held to the track by 4 small 8mm nuts, i'm amazed it held on as long as it did!
