Not a Z28, but an SS with the 1LE package sans the matte black finish on the hood. Even if this was a Z28, it would be incorrectly listed, as the Z28 is not an SS package, but a separate model that slots between the SS and ZL1. -- Last edit: 2013-10-13 19:50:21 |

Although we have determined that this model is not a Z/28, a few other dead giveaways are that the Z/28 has completely different wheels with fender flares than a SS 1LE, it has a differently grille with Z/28 badging, and it cannot be ordered with the RS package. You can tell the 1LE in the photo has the RS package based on the LED headlights. Since the Z/28 is geared for track use and maximum weight reduction, it is essentially stripped down and some options are not available as they are on other models. |
