t442163 ◊ 2018-09-21 03:23	This Avanti II convertible is one of two Prototypes built in 1984/5. This brown one was built in California [the other in Florida] was loaned out extensively to a number of TV and movie productions in the mid 1980's. Both Prototypes were built using earlier [1970's] Avanti II coupes as their base. The actual Production Avanti Convertible Cabriolet did not have metal bumpers and was built from 1985 to 1991.
