dsl ◊ 2013-09-19 23:53	Nice find. Only 1045 made, and was called Van rather than Estate - common practice in J at the time. No Estate body produced in UK, but unclear if this was a UK or J design. Launch date uncertain, but may have been 1957 after Nissan stopped importing components from UK so had flexibility to build their own versions - similar scenario for Isuzu Hillman Minx enabled a unique-for-J version as the Express 2-door estate, and I'd guess the Austin-Nissan contractual arrangements followed the same government approved structure. -- Last edit: 2013-09-25 00:37:23
