johnfromStaffs ◊ 2013-08-26 21:49	Introduced in convertible form in 1949, three years before the creation of BMC, this car was purely an Austin design. It was the spearhead of L P Lord's attack upon the US market. The Americans did not want to pay Buick prices for a four cylinder car, however.
