By the plain wheels without additional chrome trims, I think it makes more sense to call it a Jaguar (240 by default). Jaguar 240/340 models are not wearing them on period promotional photos, unlike the Daimler V8 250. |

The Daimler chrome rims is a useful reference point. Oct 67 onwards production figures of slim bumper versions was 240 - 4,430, 340 - 2,804 (both stopped by Sept 68 XJ6 launch), and Daimler V8-250 got to 4,897 (as it lasted a year later until the XJ6-based Daimler Sovereign arrived in Oct 69). |
