Surprised that it says KDJ150. That is a newer generation. It should have been KDJ90... probably a mistake. Anyway 1kdftv was introduced in July 2000.

The VIN issue I stumbled upon recently as well. It has to do with the EU style VINs that do not adhere to the NA standard of a 10th digit MY. The breakdown is different for EU VINs.

In this instance the VIN is very real and it is an EU style VIN without the 10th digit MY. It was built November of 2000. https://www.toyodiy.com/parts/q?vin=JTEBZ99J900008379 Indeed [KDJ95] and made for EU’s market.

Just for the record EU models built after September are the next MY? So indeed a 2001 MY?
