It also featured in Fantasy Island and has been seen in numerous shows over the years. It was built in 1947 and has sensational views of the Pacific Ocean. The estate was bought in 2002, by Dick Clark, for $15 million. Here's another image, from the same episode, of Heather Locklear, by the pool with the Pacific behind her.
