Well, mike962, you could be right.

[For something completely different, it seems that at least two cars used in the production are parked, here on this picture: the Simca Marly /vehicle_607179-Simca-Marly-1956.html and the 203 Cabriolet /vehicle_607091-Peugeot-203-Cabriolet-1953.html .]

so it's a Kaiser M251 then ,, movie was done in early 1962 which means impossible that it's the AM General version

Can't find any variant called M-251, renaming it to M-35.
