The Wolseley 18/85 arrived in the Spring of 1967. A MkII version followed in 1969 and was replaced by the Mk.III, now called Wolseley Six, in 1972. The Six had stylish wheels rims: http://www.austin-rover.co.uk/press/ado17_238893.jpg unlike the 18/85: http://www.austin-rover.co.uk/press/ado17_171157.jpg Also the bumper overriders were no longer used on the Six. |

Not all Wolseley Sixes had "Rostyle-type" wheels but some used normal hubcaps as shown in the brochure. ![]() |

So it was an optional extra for extra £££s! ![]() Lucky for us they dropped the bumper overriders, else it would be difficult to keep them apart. |

Some Sixes had over riders! http://www.flickr.com/groups/wolseley6/ Not sure if these are just later owner additions but .... Reg./year is usually a give-away though ;-) |
