.... but it's Yorkshire again. However car is genuine LHD and looks a real German car - plates look authentic to my inexpert eye, and there are a couple of German-looking windscreen stickers. A poverty spec 2 door, skids off the road in a convincing blizzard and crashes into a ditch, at which point it immediately stops snowing and the road snow melts away.

- yes the plate on the thumbnail is authentic (not on the main pic), even from a disappeared county. The silver registration sticker fits, too. It's from the "Kreis Düsseldorf-Mettmann" (= rural district), changed at the 1.1.1975 to "Kreis Mettmann" with the plate "ME"
The next TÜV-inspection had to be for March 1979 (orange sticker, black mark around the "12" on the "9"-position)

- not a poverty spec version with the chrome trims,it's a more luxoury "L" (no "LS" because of the single headlights)

 I cannot identify the windscreen stickers. Can you enlarge and mirror them?

Windscreen stickers - have taken new captures and uploaded at 640 instead of 496, but this is probably the limit of achievable quality from source DVD. Yellow one could be a disc holder with logo on reverse - has 3 stylised letters xAB when flipped, which may suggest badge not a disc holder.

Thanks for the effort. Sorry, I cannot identify any "classic" 1970ies West German motiv, neither from an automobile-club, nor from an insurance or a lighting-test or so.

Huh, I beg your pardon, I've wrote bullshit [:shy] It is a plate from the 1975+ district "Kreis Mettmann", not the pre-1975 version. I only saw the "Ia"-code (one letter plus three ciphers) and the correct registration sticker - but have totally overlooked, that it has "ME" and not "D" .... [:shy]

 Is there annother pic of the bck of the (second?)car? To check, if it has the Belgian-spec foglight? Otherwise: the German plate on the back is really authentic...

No other rear picture - the bloke opens the boot without the camera moving. And I think it's only one car.
