I guess they think so little of the audience that nobody will understand GPS coordinates. He clearly states that it's at 49°N, yet the only part of the US mainland north of the 49th parallel is in rural Minnesota! Also it's clearly visible that it's kilometers rather than miles on the Ford Expedition. Yes, I know I'm overanalysing a cheap B-movie and I should come to expect such silliness!
