Ingo ◊ 2008-11-19 21:12	In 1973 there wasn't any Diesel-engine available for the S-Klasse (until 1990 in Europe neither for all S-Klasses), so it's a later made conversion. There were several W 116 (but more W 108) with 240-Diesel-engines (sometimes with the 200- or 220-engine, too, but they'd been very much too weak). And think realistic: how shall a taxi-company earns money with a Mercedes with fuel engine?? Even in the 70ies it was hard, because the thirst of all fuel-Mercedes was not neglibile (better to say: horrendous). And this scene was made in 2003, with totally differend fuel-prices. And also in Iceland, a country where everything is more expensive than in Central Europe (resp. was more expensive until some days ago). -- Last edit: 2008-11-19 21:36:27
