Many, if not the most NSU 1000-owners have privately pimped their car into direction TT or even TTS. Often partly, totally not that much. This was no problem, at NSU you could order all single features and parts for that, and there were a plenty of independent tuning-companies* or private racing-freaks, who have offered NSU-pimping-stuff, too. As Irmscher for example. NSU was first, Opel came later.
