![]() earlier. the after-factory Amco bumper over rider bar that runs the whole way to the outside edges of the grille meets the factory bumper guards at that point, making the car a 1970-1972 model 240Z. from this angle, none of the other determining factors to narrow the year within that range are visible. ... except that ~ the color (presuming it was the original color at the time of filming) doesn't look like either the 905 Monte Carlo Red or the 918 New Sight Orange that were offered for 1970/71, but rather the 110 Red that debuted for 1972 ... all that said, with a margin of error allowed for the twilight of the scene, and the fact that MANY Z-Cars of different colors somewhow magically became red within 10 years of rolling off the production line, ~ 1972 240Z for the win. |
