Is the Fiat 850 Sport Coupe on left worth a page? No better view and presumably an import, but if any local assembly it deserves one. Also one of the few other Minis in the film and a Cresta PA, with possibly a Standard or something like an A95 Westminster behind. This Avenger is 77+ Chrysler GLS, sequel to the 74+ NZ only Hillman Avenger Alpine GLS /vehicle_372823-Hillman-Avenger-Alpine-GLS-1974.html , but now without Alpine in name - http://www.allpar.com/cars/adopted/hillman/avenger-new-zealand.html . Other Avengers in film, variously Hillman or Chrysler (may well be others in fractional glimpses, but these were the ones I spotted): 00:02:35 - an Estate 00:35:50 - gold early Hillman 00:39:59 - a Hillman and Chrysler pair and - be brave here cl82 - a couple of crashed ones: 00:34:20 with a somewhat idiosyncratic approach to conventional health & safety methods 01::03:14 a rolled one (I think Avenger, but might just be the Aus version of Chrysler 180 as Centura if sold in NZ) . -- Last edit: 2013-03-20 16:14:01 |

No need to worry here. Both the red and the yellow one look as if their passengers were at least injured when the accidents occured, so you certainly will not hear any cynical remarks from me here. |

I think the thumb is unlikely to be a Centura/180 as I don't think they were sold here new although I have seen examples of both on the road here. |

Yep agreed with nzcarnerd - no Chryslers Centras were sold here - I do have seen 1 or two at swap meets as well and an ex UK Chrysler 180. Chrysler Avenger facelift may in fact not be a GLS but could represent a run out GL model with vinyl roof cover and many GLS features |
