They all are based on old Kymco Filly. Scooters of this type are fitted with 4-stroke 49cm3 139QMB engine (from the GY-6 family). Hemi cylinder head with crossflow valve configuration, chain driven overhead camshaft. Maximum power - 3.5HP, maximum speed - 75km/h, fuel consumption 2l/100km |

It is definitely a Chinese design so it most likely cannot originate in Poland. |

But all these scooters with this design that we also see in other countries than Poland would also mean that they all originate from Poland? It is a bit hard to believe. Also hard to believe is that they were designed and produced in Poland and then shipped to China for assembly and then shipped back to Poland. .gif ":)") I think Zipp is rather a distributor which sells these scooters under their own brand name as many other distributors do. -- Last edit: 2013-11-03 14:48:18 |

Origin of this little plastic toy should be the South Korea! Its design comes from a South Korean scooter - Kymco Filly, and its engine (139QMB from GY-6 engine series) originates from an old Japanese construction. |

Kymco is a Taiwanese manufacturer. The design has been copied by several (mainland) Chinese manufacturers and has been badged under various names so it is maybe less likely for the CKD kits to be originally sourced from Kymco in Taiwan. -- Last edit: 2014-02-20 21:52:18 |
