That's plausible. For the same reason the WES on our cars will stay, too and not be replaced with MO or DIN. Of course all these new relased repro-retro-plates will never ever have a chance to enter my collection. Only the real pre-1975 ones are accepted. |

P.S.  @robi: was hatte Rhede früher, vor 1975, als Kennzeichen? Schon immer BOR, oder den alten Niederrheinkreis mit Sitz in Rees, d.h. WES mit anderem Siegel? |

Da ich auch erst 1997 nach Rhede gekommen bin, weiß ich es nicht 100%-ig, aber ich tippe einfach mal auf BOR. |

Wurde gerade in meinem Schilderforum verlinkt: Link to "www.rp-online.de" Bei uns im Dorf hat der Bauhof noch einen Anhänger mit einem 1959er Schild und diesem Uralt-Siegel. Das mit den historischen Kreisgrenzen ist auch nicht einfach, gerade in unserer Ecke nicht. Da wurde 1975 z.T. wüst gepuzzelt. Manchmal wissen selbst altgediente Heimatkundler nicht genau, wie die Grenzen verliefen. Ich weiß immer noch nicht, ob unser Haus jetzt im Rheinland oder in Westfalen steht... |
