All Pollmann distributed Volvo heares are Nilssons, referenced, or not. Nilssons are the only ECE-R crash-test approved Volvo hearses in Europe. Pollmann GmbH did not go through the expensive process of having their own version tested, hence there is none. The Nilssons are delivered to Pollmann as bare shells and Pollman does the final assembly to comply with German law § 47 BestattG. They also export them to other EU countries where hearses have to comply with ECE-R rules, for example the UK, BeNeLux, Denmark, and many others, also non-EU countries like Switzerland and Norway. I have this information from Pollmann's director of design, Jens Wülfers, with whom I'm friendly. |
