That is a Hover 5. |

Hover [H5]. I'm surprised to see it in Italy. |

Nice! We don't have Chinese cars in Holland... Is Landwind Chinese btw? WE have a Landwind here. -- Last edit: 2013-02-20 20:28:07 |

@garco: Landwind is Chinese indeed. In the UK the only Chinese cars we receive are: /vehicle_566145-MG-6-Magnette-W261-2011.html (but partly built in the UK), the Great Wall Steed pick-up and the Dongfeng vans. |

Anyway, it's more correct to list [H5] as chassis code. |

The name used in Italy was 'Hover 5': http://www.greatwall.it/fuoristrada-suv-hover.html Anyway I don't think there is anything nice about it. Most Chinese cars are imitations made of extremely cheap materials and full of poor quality plastic. They are inexpensive for a reason. -- Last edit: 2013-02-20 20:45:06 |

You have reason about the materials but you exaggerate. It have not less "off-road" abilities than any recent european SUV. |

It seems Italy is one of the biggest or even the biggest(?) market for Chinese cars in EU. |

In Bulgaria we have Great wall cars too (we assemble them), but most of Hovers you can see are police cars. |

Off-roading in a Chinese SUV usually means enjoying how every part of the car squeaks while going over hills. And most of the time something in that car will break while doing it. These cars are offered for rent in China and you cannot guess how many problems they have. |
◊ 2013-02-20 21:26 |
You have right but don't forget that there are no recent SUV REALLY made for the off-road. |

Yes, in Italy you can see a few Chinese cars, mainly pickups and SUVs from Great Wall, but I agree that there's nothing of exciting about it... Here you can see one of the dealer, http://goo.gl/maps/jn1Nj, and honestly I don't see any Great Wall model parked outside. |

There is a joint SsangYong/Great Wall dealership in Edinburgh. Lots of both outside, though their main forecourt is taken up mostly with rental vans. |
