This appears to be based on the shorter M2? It has the side access for the ammo storage, with 1/2 length mine racks and appears to have the rear step of the M2 as well? I believe the M16 was the longer version w/ quad .50s neither of which are present. Bruno58 take a close look please? |

You're right to question this identification, 4x4peru. It is not a White M16, contrary to the one we have already on our db. This said, I can't tell what it is. A late M2 with a big machine gun? |

Well, it seems we have here a 1943 White/Autocar M2 A1. |
