Why 'B' in the type? All other 469's are withouth B?? |

According to http://www.uazitalia.net/html/storia.htm which is quite accurate the 'B' is for the model with portal axles .... In Italy (one of the biggest UAZ export markets) diesel models were commonly named 469D and the 'B' was used for the gasoline powered engines. |
