Custom stretched limousine on Cadillac chassis by independent coach builder. The base car may have been a Fleetwood model but "Fleetwood" did NOT sign the conversion so it really is a misnomer to call it a "Cadillac Fleetwood". |

What does he mean here? He refers to "Fleetwood" like it's another company, but on wikipedia it says GM bought the Fleetwood Body Company in 1925 (which used to be a coachbuilder) and it seems like hasn't existed as a company for a very long time, so by the 1980s there wouldn't have been any "Fleetwood" to sign anything, it was all under Cadillac/GM. |

Also, in the 1980s there was no commercial chassis by Cadillac, so stretched Fleetwood is nothng more than stretched Fleetwood. |

Is anything I've said above actually false? Wikipedia is quite reliable for most things, they require sources of information to be cited, and it's is a good place to get quick, basic info. I mean, thanks for showing me that site but that's a lot of text to read through. There's a discussion here, if you want to comment: Link to "forum.imcdb.org" -- Last edit: 2012-06-04 20:11:48 |
