dsl ◊ 2018-01-31 00:51	Long sequence barrelling around MIRA track in Leicestershire 9704 RW (April-May 62) was Apex 10, the last in this series of 10 experimental development cars used to test body and mechanical proposals/permutations to arrive at the final production format; Apex 10 finished this phase as pretty much the confirmed design presented for management appraisal and design sign-off, and was also used extensively for testing with external suppliers (eg Dunlop for the C41 tyre supply contract). Seems to have both solid and perforated wheels in different segments, so likely to be 2 or more occasions. Footage is mid-62 onwards with revised-for-production raised bumper - compare Apex 7 - /vehicle.php?id=563969 .
