I’m sure there is a story behind why its nose has been replaced; perhaps it was involved in a front end collision. Regardless of why, it has the grille work and complete front bumper from its parent vehicle, the Ford F-150. Aero roof-racks and front fender mounted fixed-mast antenna (which is missing) date the Expedition as a 1999 model only. Its rear-wheel drive only, so no off road adventures for this one; however it does have the heavy-duty trailer towing package as the massive CLASS IV (Class 4) weight distributing trailer hitch is visible in the last thumbnail capture. Note the heavy-duty 4- and 7-pin trailer electrics connector box located on the drivers side of the trailer hitch. Also included with the HD towing pack were a heavy-duty high output radiator, heavy-duty transmission fluid cooler, heavy-duty flashers, and pre wiring for an electronic trailer brake controller module. Towing capacity was set at 8,100 lbs (4.05 tons) of braked trailer. |
