By the car on the right* a pre-1957 season IMO - then 250 F fits to the 1956 season. *The car on the right is also interesting, as it looks like Lancia D50 (already took over by Ferrari after Ascari dead). |

Hello, I have studied the Maserati 250F for over 20 years and have in my collection close to 50,000 photos of this model. This is a photo of the start of the 1957 Reims Grand Prix. A Formula 1 race a week after the French Grand Prix at Rouen. The Maserati 250F pictured is chassis 2501, #12 driven in the race by Frenchman Jean Behra. He finished 2nd.
