1977-79. I want to say Sedan De Ville, but it's more than likely a Commerical Chassis. |

Clear turn signal lenses means '77 only |

The grille looks like a 1979 and it has a lower rocker panel so it must be a Sedan Deville. I doubt it's a commercial chassis car, nor a factory made limo... |

Startwagen (Mobile Starting Gate), like they are being operated at hippodromes during harness racing starts. Thanks to S 415 GT for the hint! This one was probably used at Trabrennbahn Hamburg-Bahrenfeld. Normally, these are one-off conversions, sometimes built by small companies. This one might even be an imported unit from the U.S. and it looks similar to the ones that were once used in Illinois: Source. Starting gates on limousine or Fleetwood Series Seventy-Five do exist, but are rather uncommon - a shorter wheelbase means better maneuverability. |

Years of running behind Caddies gave derby winners Sadie and Karla a certain appreciation for the new Deville Concours... |

I think I bet on the one on the right today, clearly too busy thinking about Cadillacs to win the 14:40. |
