Can that be entered as is? I don't know the Spanish system.

It disappeared. Since some years Spanish registrations -the newer French, too- are anonymous.

What do you mean exactly?

Anonymus regarding that you can't know where the car belongs to. Usually the plate holder gives it away though but it's not always something you can rely on anyway.

No, with "anonymous" I mean, that you cannot see any more, where the car is coming from.

Probably how to see, when the car got its registration. As to read here, it was possible with the old Spainsh systematics. The location of the registration was identifyable by the first letters.

It's possible to know 'when' it was registered, just not 'where'. Unless you use the plate holder giveaway.

It can't be an older second-hand car with newer plates?

I doubt it. Plus in Spain the plate stays with the car forever. You can of course re-register a car but that's not usually done, if you spot an old car with newer plates it's usually because it's an import. A Peugeot 505 in a series filmed in 1989 is unlikely to be re-registered.
