I find that car almost strange in road action, knowning that was raced in '60s endurance races like Le Mans;but was really legalized roadgoing one???(don't shown reg.license plates) Known also as "Carrera 6",as reports a 1966 Italian motor magazine(906 was internal project code) |

Could be a kit-car/replica, or a rare stradale version. |

The Porsche 906 carrera 6 was legalized. Here in spain I met a man that has one, with license plates and running. There is no stradale version. |

Porsche 906, as prior 904, was a homologated car for the road. It was constructed by Porsche in order to compete in FIA GT group; so to be considered a GT, FIA wanted a minimum production figure (in this case, 100 units) and some other things like a boot (to accomodate a suitcase with stablished dimensions...) All that is suppossed to have a Gran Turismo car. So totally legal, and quite practial (and pure racecar inside! something you cannot get today) |

Real 906, borrowed from a collector in Ft. Lauderdale. Apparently a stunt driver crashed it and did some damage to it during the filming. |

Yes, real 906. And according to German wiki 1 of 65 cars produced (50 for homologation in its category plus 15 due to demand) |

Yes, the damage is clearly visible in the last thumb. |
