Ordinary Mustang when they started - blinged with Boss stripes. I think they said at end of episode V8 302 - but I don't think that was what it started with. |

I don't know what the VIN of the car equates to, but they have put "Boss 302" stripes on it and a 302 V8 with a rear spoiler. Then, completely illogically, they have a 2 barrel carb on the engine, topped of by an Edelbrock chrome air cleaner. Anomalies: 1. Car goes in the paint booth after the new American Mag wheels are installed; not in the real world. 2. Car comes out of the paint shop with what looks like a crap enamel paint with a ton of orange peel. Then it's shown with all the orange peel with the chrome, lights, and trim installed. The car the "appraiser" looks at is clearly a wet sanded and rubbed out paint job. You wet sand and rub out before installing the trim. I'm thinking two different cars were used in the show. 3. What alleged professional car restorer buys an engine without checking to see if it's locked up/seized? Ridiculous scripting in an already stupid show. -- Last edit: 2014-10-24 04:59:16 |
