Indeed, with Wehrmacht-Heer plates ... plausible, actually. |

The Germans captured a lot of British vehicles at Dunkerque and also in North Africa. I remember a documentary where a British veteran talked about how, during the North Africa campaign, he was in a column of trucks driving through the desert at night and they found themselves passing through a German encampment. None of the Germans realised what was happening, because they were using so many British trucks themselves that they didn't look strange. |

A lot of Bedfords were abandoned in the desert after removing the plug from the oil sump, starting them and putting a stone on the accelerator. But only if you had the time! |

the Bedford is quite similar to the Horch "schwere Einheits PKW gl" http://www.fahrzeuge-der-wehrmacht.de/Artikel/E-Pkw_s.html so maybe som germans didn´t recognize the Bedford as british vehicle at all. |
