Prior to the 2001 facility openning in mid 2001 export models were made in Mexico. Without a VIN it is a moot point. Remember these began construction in 1999 for the year 2000 and sold as a 2001 MY. Weren't they assembled in Graz/Austria for the European market- at least for a while? The rest was made in Toluca, Mexico.
