Still looking for a still shot of my friends 96 Crown Vic. It's black, no spotlight, but grill lights are intact. He bought it from a propmaster in Vancouver, Wa. Neat movie...we'd love to find some pics of the car in action. |

Hey CrownVicGuy, welcome aboard! I read your profile description. First of all, I did not contribute the pictures for this movie, someone else did. I merely identified the approximate model years for the Crown Victorias in this movie. As for why your friend's Crown Vic isn't included, I don't know. I haven't seen this movie since it came out in the theatres, but I believe that not every vehicle is posted. Your friend's car may have been too much of a background vehicle to post. Something we do here is that we try not to post so many of the same model cars for a single movie. There's already 3 Crown Victorias and 1 Grand Marquis posted on here, so that's enough. However, if you notice this picture, I think you'll see your friend's car at the top: /images/053/809.jpg I'm pretty sure that's the one you're referring to. It's black and from the 1995-1997 generation, it has no spotlight, and you can see the blue and red flashers behind the grill. I hope I was able to help. |

Thanks a ton Ford Guy... That is almost certainly my friends Vic...He'll be thrilled when he sees the pic, even though it's not exactly a poster child! ---- He loves the car, just put a new manifold on it yesterday (that nasty problem with all Crown Vics, I guess) and he plans to keep driving it until the wheels fall off. They are a heck of good car though. That P-71 package really seems to hold up well, and he's constantly bragging about how fast the thing goes. I'll eventually buy one for myself, but probably a newer model. Anyway, thanks again. CrownVicGuy |

No need to thank me Good luck with those cars. As a suggestion, you may want to buy a car off of a police auction. They're cheap that way. Just make sure that you inspect whatever car you're going to buy thoroughly and make sure everything's in order. Usually, highway patrol agencies tend to leave their cars in the best conditions after using them. |

Yes, that is exactly it, meaning that this car is exactly a 1995 model. -- Last edit: 2008-11-11 03:00:55 |
