Described as a V6 in the clip, has cheaper wheels and no lighting in the bumper, so probably a junkyard salvage or similar.

But TG USA appears to have become even more stupid than TG UK. Which in a perverted sort of way is an achievement.

V6 trim level. Notice the rear wheels look darker than the front ones, so it has two different, yet similarly-styled, wheels on it.

This episode came out in 2012. The Mustang was restyled in 2010, and no rental fleet would still have a 7-year-old car.

In the screenshot, I notice the piece of plastic is missing from the lower grille. I'm guessing dsl is right about about this being a salvage car. They wouldn't waste the money on a nice one just to smash it up. It might not even have been street legal, given that we almost never see it drive on actual roads. Still a shame to destroy it, but not as much of a loss as they made it look like.

The wheels are base-model 2005 wheels, but they do all match. (The apparent mismatch in the screenshot is just because the shot is lit weird, and the front wheel might be cleaner.)
