Bravada ◊ 2007-10-16 19:39	Origin of all Altimas is Smyrna, Tennessee, USA (with some recent models assembled in Canton, Mississipi - Nissan has an understandable weak spot for states with double "s-es"), and its a North America-only model, designed in California (all three generations). Listing its origin as Japan is even more wrong as in case of some other cars... (this pertains to all Altimas, not just the L36 here (2002-2004)

Bravada ◊ 2007-10-16 23:46	Yeah, the nameplate was introduced as USDM only, all were designed in California as USDM unique models, built in the US. Check Wikipedia if you don't believe me
