Set in Canada, so probably a Canadian Pontiac. -- Last edit: 2012-09-15 19:22:53 |

Catalina = Laurentian, eh. |

Yes, but was the Laurentian available as a convertible in 1971? I haven't been able to confirm this. |

I did a little more digging on the web, and night_cub is right, there doesn't appear to be any mention of a convertible Laurentian in 1971. I did find something that says in 1971, the laws were starting to change here in Canada, and you could buy the US models alongside the Canadian models. http://canadianponcho.activeboard.com/t37424465/71-catalina-in-to/ So, this car could be a Catalina |

I can't quite make it out, but that badge under the headlights, if it reads Pontiac then it's a Catalina, but it may read Grand Ville, which obviously makes it a Grand Ville. -- Last edit: 2012-09-17 17:03:20 |

Could this be just 'Pontiac' script? |

1971 Catalina convertible. There is no chrome strip along the rear rocker panel which all Grand Ville's had. |
