Due to the taillights, I say this is Aussie Ford Falcon [XT]. |

So not made for ZA. But: made for Which were the export countries of LHD-Holden? Greece, IIRC. One more hint, that this is not a ZA-made movie. |

Quote "In South Africa the Ford Fairmont was assembled in Port Elizabeth, Eastern Cape from 1969 to 1971 in the Ford Falcon XW and XY shape. Two models were available: a 250 six-cylinder and 351C V8. The Ranchero was the pick-up version." - http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Ford_Fairmont_(Australia) . So does not apply for this one if it's an XT, but the next 2 versions. |

Err, I still think, that all of you are still riding the wrong horse. Every detail here makes a ZA-movie more and more implausible. |

The LHD thing is bugging me, but isolated comment "The XL was the first Falcon to be exported in any great quantity, with cars going to New Zealand, Pacific Islands, Jamaica, Thailand, Hong Kong and East Africa (all of which were LHD markets)." - http://www.flickr.com/groups/carguide/discuss/72157626512726726/ - might help for East Africa reference, although some of the named markets were actually RHD. |

I agree, not made for ZA due to left-hand drive. |
