Just like what Commander_57 said, this car looks so old for the film's date (1971). That's one of the best and most popular reasons on why older cars get a lot more attention: Looks and Design/Art. Another example is that in the early-to-late-1970s, every back-then-modern car during that time had A LOT of differences, even the 50s and 60s cars had their differences (e.g. a 1958 Pontiac Bonneville Coupe with a Continental Kit and a 1963 Dodge Dart 440 Sedan) that made them stand out. It's not like that now-a-days, it's hard to tell a 2000s Toyota from a 2000s Honda or a 2000s Nissan, Lexus, and Mazda. -- Last edit: 2024-03-24 08:02:19 |
