Called Galant Sigma for the USA market. 1986-90 - nice find. The chassis code is E10 EDIT: seems like the hardtop version was only sold in 1989-90 -- Last edit: 2012-08-14 20:25:27 |

It looks very much like a Galant [E10] not Galant Sigma [Sapporo]. But it seems this generation of Galant was not sold in US. Am I just becoming blind? |

Ok, after reading a comment here, I can now say that Galant was used to describe the 4 cylinder version sold from 1985, and Galant Sigma was used for the 6 cylinder version sold from August 1988 to 1990. It was renamed to Sigma sometime during 1989 (for the 1990 MY?) and discontinued in 1990. /vehicle_393436-Mitsubishi-Galant-Sigma-1988.html |

By the way, it seems like the taillights changed in 1988, and these taillights are pre-facelift, so 1986-87 Galant |

A kid at my high school drove one back in the late-90s.Very few are still around and they weren't popular to begin with, but they were officially sold in the US |
