Side-hinged bonnet (bonnet catches visible on the bonnet sides) from September 1939 the bonnet was front-hinged and two sets of three vertical chrome trims were added on the lower parts of the wings to the side of the grill. Interestingly the car in the movie has had the grill replaced with a later one from September 1939 because it is cut short above the bumper. From the rear. External boot-lid from 1938 hinged at the bottom. From September 1939 the boot was enlarged and extended out from the rear body also it was hinged from the top.
