dsl wrote Is F230 RNP a convertible (like the Crayfords Sandie keeps finding in Bergerac)? That roof seems to overhang the sides too much for vinyl (and Red Hot was red all over when it left Longbridge.

G-MANN wrote I was wondering about that. I wasn't sure if it was just a black roof.

dsl wrote I think give it its own page as Crayford Mini Convertible (Red Hot), even if this is the best view. Better to have it out in the open to stand a chance of being picked up and maybe confirmed than lost under a comment reference.

G-MANN wrote If it's a soft-top, could it have done by anyone other than Crayford?

Sandie wrote May have been 'self-cutted'.

G-MANN wrote Is it right to list things like Crayford as makes because they just modify something already built by a car company? Same with funeral cars listed as Coleman-Milne and Eagle.

dsl wrote Crayford are the only people I can think of who did Mini convertibles, although they sometimes did things which were marketed by others under different names (eg Mumford Marina, the Deutsch Opel which was discussed yesterday). If you give it a page, it stands a chance of someone being able to give us a better answer someday. And I think Crayford as make is the best option - they have a recognised identity. Otherwise - like your limo examples - their products are scattered everywhere.
