Looks more like a 1977 DeVille/Fleetwood

It appears to have the "V" on the trunk lid which indicates a DeVille.

Episode 5.09 has a clear view of this car. Definitely a 1977 Sedan DeVille. It looks like there's a one-word badge on the C-pillar, but I can't tell what it says -- possibly "Brougham." So I'm guessing that would make this a Fleetwood Brougham.

Quote Drive like Walter White!

In the final season of Breaking Bad, Walter White tools around in this 1977 Sedan de Ville.

It's an important car, and Bryan Cranston's character uses it a whole lot in some of the most vital episodes of the series.

This is the actual Sedan de Ville that Walter White drives onscreen. It runs and drives, but the paint is faded, the body has some dings and there is interior wear and tear.

The interior is red and Walt was in the driver's seat.

Breaking Bad fans are definitely going to want Walter White's Cadillac, which is sold as-is.

This is a Sedan Deville. The Sedan Deville/Fleetwood script is on the rear quarter panel. The badge on the C pillar is "d'elegance" which was an option package on both the Deville and Fleetwood. The most obvious feature of the "d'elegance" was the extra pillows on the seats.

During the series finale, one of the bad guys asks Walter White which engine (the 425 or the 500) is in the car.

The correct answer is actually the HT 4100.

Why?

Because...... He is the one who knocks.

I'm pretty sure the 500-cubic inch V-8 would have been discontinued soon after the first time the Arabs shut off the oil.

As one of the bad guys said of this car: "No replacement for displacement."

There are probably better views but I did not capture cars while watching the series.
I've put a better view from ep 5.16.

The "Driver" Caddi was my mom's in 1978 to 1980. How do I know? because I put the dent in that drivers rear 1/4 panel plastic with my Yamaha MX100 handlebars hitting some gravel that launched me into it. Also had a broken trunk key cover as seen in show and the dealer emblem on left rear bumper they scratched out I remember well as I washed the car 20 times. Mom would drive us to school at about 85 MPH in it in Arizona pretty much jumping dips in road and the car was a beast but well kept obviously. But oh how interesting it is that Dent got me kicked out of her house to move in with father to go to public school where I....never mind. The show really hits home, so to speak. Yes it blew my mind when I saw it. That Dent and the public school I'd go to would never be the same after Gumby ruled. LOL. It makes me wonder if some weird vibe hit the car scouting crew when seeing that car. We all leave our mark. Some with handlebars..... Gilligan would trip on my stories.... Anybody notice the "DEA Kings" in title?

It was the 425 for sure. and I doubt it got an oil change at all in 1980. Did get a dent though.

It was definitely Brougham and the color is the most unique and I have never seen another that same orange marmalade whatever they called it. My dad bought it a year or 2 old and mom drove it for 2 years and I dented drivers rear. Paint was actually a bit faded from Arizona sun when we had it. That dent lead to a whole chain of events in my life.

Funny enough, they didn't even have a 500 cu in option for this car in 1977, the previous model did.

So it's confirmed it's a Fleetwood and not a DeVille?

No, it's a [6CD69] Sedan deVille.
