Honestly it wasn't confirmed, if it was assembled there, on the other hand with this huge number of them in Egyptian films... |

Plus the fact, that it wasn't a big success, nowhere. So these high numbers of cars in one specific country makes a local assembling very likely. @the European and Near East members here: when have you seen the last Seat Fura in the real life?
