It is beautiful this bear and its forest at the buttress of a mountain range. Bavaria with their vast animal reserves to admire bears, lynxes, wolves, wild boars, wild horses.

Err, these animals -except the wild boars- did't appear in Bavaria in the 1940ies, nor at the time of filming. Lynxes were re-settled in the 80es, wolves came back from the East after 2010.
