This is a 1928 Austin 12/4 'Clifton' tourer. Note the single headlamp illuminated. This was the 1920's method of dipping headlamps, where the off-side lamp was extinguished, and the near-side lamp dipped towards the kerb - Stangely enough this method is still 'legal' in Britain as the equipment was an original fitment.
