Commander 57 ◊ 2012-08-28 14:46	Appears to have the Marathon front, so not a Superba. There were thousands of Checkers built for civilan use. This could be one of them in which case it is a Marathon. With the Marathon front coupled with the older windshield style, the subject car is a '61 to '67 model.

Commander 57 ◊ 2012-08-29 15:11	Hmmmm... Didn't spot the side marker somehow. Perhaps the blurriness makes it look as if the w/s is chrome trimmed (old style design) but that sure looks like chrome from here. Looks like the small sized "side marker" (reflector, actually) used from 1968 to 1969. Since '68 is first possible year, will list accordingly, although this could still be an older Checker with a reflector added. That was done sometimes. -- Last edit: 2012-08-29 15:12:33
