Made for EU or GB? DRLs were not standard here in the US so it should be a 'Made for' tag. I chose Europe but if that is wrong please by all means change it. This is not US spec as they never came with DRLs. If anyone is curious DRL= Daytime Running Lights. |

I think the explanation for them might be that the company who did the conversions was Canadian where DRLs were mandated so the start point would be a CDN vehicle. It's a tricky one here as these vans were never officially sold here by GM, but ambulance converters offered their conversions which used them as a base here, no doubt with modifications for the requirements of GB ambulance services. I'd be in favour of using Made for GB here, as American ambulances in the UK are unusual and we know this is part of a batch ordered for a UK service from new opposed to something imported later (which was probably the most usual situation). |
