Possibly a mid 70's Ford Maveric. |

This is actually a coupe, and too big to be a Ford Maverick. |

Something Duster-ish or related Mopar??? |

It's definitely a Mopar and I'm thinking Plymouth Duster. |

With that hood and those seats it could be a 340, but I think both features were also optional on lesser Dusters. |

It's so rare to see a Duster as a squad vehicle! |

So, this movie was filmed in Mexico. I’m certain that’s actually a Dodge Valiant Super Bee. Mexico used the A Body platform and these cars were used for their police and some highway patrol units because of their higher than stock HP rating at the time. |

Seems to be right. The only thing I don't see is the tachometer on the left hood scoop. |

Dodge Valiant Super Bee? ? no such thing ever made. Would be a Plymouth Duster (yes, suits the dusty location as mentioned above) or it's Dodge counter-part the Dart. I don't see where we see and brand or model badging to determine which. Must remember cars in other countries are not always made/outfitted the same as they were in this country. Only the super hot-rod cars had the tach mounted on the hood, so not surprised not to see it here. |
