I don't know why, but I'm leaning towards a Studebaker of the mid-1950's.

I am almost sure this is a 1958-60 Vauxhall Victor (F) Estate for the US market, sold there by Pontiac dealers at the era.

Agree. I think Pontiac Envoy name was used, but unsure if US or CDN branding.

^ I did think 2 Victors would be difficult to explain. Seems US was just Vauxhall Victor, only sold thru Pontiac dealers. CDN much more complicated with VVs and rebadged as Pontiac Envoys sold across the various GM networks - http://www.flickr.com/photos/njsimca/sets/72157623769990640/ from our old friend NJSimca.
