Almost all - there were 2wd versions of this 1800 range in UK in mid-late 80s. |

Was it really badged as four-wheel drive? The newer ones are badged as all-wheel drive. Some of the older wagons have "4WD" on the liftgate, while the newer wagons (like the Outback) have "AWD". Though I don’t know what model year Subaru started the drive name conversion, or if Subaru phased in the "all-wheel drive" name. |

This generation was badged 4WD. The old Kelly Blue Book that I have shows 1993 as the year the Loyale, Justy, Impreza and Legacy changed from 4WD to AWD, the SVX used AWD the year before. -- Last edit: 2012-05-14 01:21:33 |
